Why there’s no flat price

Wildlife removal isn’t one job, it’s a handful of related steps, and how much of each you need is what sets the price. A single squirrel caught and a sealed vent is a small job. A summer-long bat exclusion with guano cleanup and a full attic restoration is a large one. Most jobs land somewhere in between.

What you’re actually paying for

• The inspection. Finding every entry point and checking for young is skilled work, and it’s what makes the rest effective.
• Removal. Trapping or exclusion, plus the return visits to confirm the animal is out. More animals, or young, means more time.
• Sealing and repair. Often the biggest variable. Closing a single gap is quick; sealing a whole roofline, capping a chimney, or repairing torn soffits and ductwork is not.
• Cleanup and restoration. Removing and replacing contaminated insulation and disinfecting an attic adds materials and labor.

What makes a job cost more

• Young in the roost, which means more time and more careful removal
• Multiple or hard-to-reach entry points, or a large roofline to seal
• Damage to repair, chewed wiring, torn soffits, ruined insulation
• Cleanup of a heavily contaminated attic or a raccoon latrine
• Species with legal timing requirements, like bats
