About Ocean County Wildlife Control

Ocean County Wildlife Control is a free referral service for homeowners across Ocean County, NJ who need an animal out of the attic, chimney, crawl space or yard. We don’t do the work ourselves. When you call or send a request, we connect you with an independent local nuisance wildlife operator who serves your area, and that pro gives you a price and does the job.

Who writes this site

The guides on this site are written and kept up to date by Erin Malloy, our editor. Erin covers squirrels, raccoons, bats, skunks and the other animals that move into shore homes, including New Jersey’s timing rules for bats and what removal usually costs, and checks them against public sources such as New Jersey Division of Fish & Wildlife rules and county health guidance.

Erin Malloy is a pen name. The guides are general information, not a professional inspection or advice for your specific home. For anything structural, electrical, gas or safety-related, have a licensed pro look at it in person.

How a request works

  1. You call (732) 627-4417 or send the form on any page.
  2. We pass your details only to a local nuisance wildlife operator who covers your area.
  3. The pro contacts you, looks at the problem and gives you a price before any work starts.
  4. You decide. Using the service costs you nothing.

What to ask any pro

Whoever you hire, ask for proof of license and insurance where your state requires them, and get the scope and price in writing before work begins. A good pro will be glad to show both.
